There are apparently 51 species of Ephemeroptera Mayflies in the UK and I’m not really qualified to identify this with certainty but it looks a bit like E. vulgata.

From Spring Wood last week. We don’t tend to see clouds of Mayflies on the Gill Beck or Tong Park in the same way as they sometimes hatch over the Wharfe for example: but it’s nice to know that they’re there.
